Lake Tarawera Fishing season
1 October to 30 June for boat fishing and cruise.
Our charter rates:
- $325 per hour - boat rate for up to 8 pax.
- Please enquire for the boat rate for 9 - 20 pax
- Minimum suggested boat charter time is 3 hours
- Boat accommodates max of up to 10 people fishing at any one time
- Light refreshments included on all charters
- Meals by arrangement and can complimented with NZ wines and beer

Cancellation policy
- If a cancellation is received within 30 days, a 25% fee is charged
- If a cancellation is received within 7 days, a 100% fee is charged
- If we are able to fill your cancelled booking there is no forfeiture fees
We are not always able to fill cancellations; we suggest adequate travel insurance to safeguard against any unforeseen circumstances that may cause the cancellation of the booking.
Fishing licence fees
We are a Fish and Game licence agent so can issue licences when you board for your chater. I you wish to check the current rates then follow this Fish and game link for info and the cost of licences. This will also give you the options when you get your licence from us should you be fishing else where in NZ.
The Taupo region is not covered by the national Fish and Game NZ licence please refer to the Dept. of Conservation website.
